The chosen applicant will assume a crucial role in the modernization of the emergency care pathway. This follows the implementation of national Clinical Quality Indicators and is part of an extensive development program within the Trusts and the health economy’s emergency flow improvement initiative.
This presents an exciting opportunity to initiate the expansion of emergency services across the region. Recognising the importance of investing in our staff and fostering specialised skill growth, we seek individuals with exceptional clinical expertise and the capability to lead on the frontline. Active involvement in teaching and supervising multi-disciplinary staff will be expected.
We aim to enhance our reputation while pushing the boundaries of clinical care excellence in our field. We’re seeking candidates who will contribute to this mission and actively participate in propelling the advancement of contemporary emergency care within our local health community.
Qualifications and Experience
– Completed Higher Specialist Training in Emergency Medicine or evidence of equivalent competency
– MRCP (UK or equivalent)
– Entry on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register via one of the following: .Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) (the proposed CCT date must be
within 6 months of the interview) .Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR)
– Full GMC Registration
– Provider status at ALS, ATLS and either PALS or APLS
