Job Details

We’re looking for 4 Acute Medicine Consultants to form a new department in the Midlands area.

The posts will involve providing acute medical care to patients in various settings, including the emergency department, inpatient wards and intensive care unit. The successful candidate will be expected to have strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities of the role include:

Providing acute medical care to patients
Managing patients’ care in a variety of settings
Developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures
Teaching and training medical students and junior doctors

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

MRCP, FRCP or Equivalent
UK experience
GMC registration
NHS experience within the past 5 years
Strong clinical skills
The ability to work effectively in a team environment
The ability to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
The ability to teach and train medical students and junior doctors
